Clarity on the path ahead

“Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t, you’re right.” Henry Ford.

Sound advice as we welcome in 2023.

Have you enjoyed/endured Christmas? What’s been your favourite gift?

I received a beautiful cashmere scarf, which has barely left my neck, and a bottle of Chanel Sycamore, my favourite fragrance.

With the exception of a, minor, second-degree burn –I  didn’t leave my bracelet on the wood burner!!” –  I’ve enjoyed it thus far.

I hope you’ve all basked in a glorious space, to decompress, indulge and reflect.

I have been sustained on the Roast Potato and Swiss Chocolate diet – highly recommended! –  and have every intention of moving my (somewhat inflated) butt, Mañana-Mañana, or somewhere thereabouts…

Just to round off the year; I was delighted to welcome back a beautiful bounty of overseas patients, that I haven’t seen in forever. The wealth of experience is awe inspiring. The take home message is, if you think it can work, go for it!

So now, we turn to 2023, with all of its untrodden promise.

I appreciate that Tony Robbins has an ego as big as his bank account, but he does have some gems…

Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change.

I’d like to remind you that I’m not shy with the local anaesthetic, should that translate to banishment of a double chin.

In all seriousness, I’ve shed a few tears of frustration over the last 12 months but, in the words of Susan Sarandon (Thelma and Louise) “You get what you settle for”. Set your bars, and your spirits, high.

Should you feel like giving yourself a boost into the new year, luminesce your skin, with the, now legendary, Profhilo.

It’s now time for me to thank you so (SO) much, and to wish you inspiration, pleasure and clarity on the path ahead.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

With lots (and lots) of love…

Watch:
The Traitors, BBC.
Even with the Goddess, Claudia Winkleman, leading the charge, The Traitors got an unimpressed eye-role from yours truly. Sucked-IN by the second episode. Think raw reality, a-la first series of Big Brother. This had me hooked by the woodburner over Christmas. Now where did I leave my bracelet?

Knives Out – The Glass Onion, Netflix.
What a romp! Sexy, sassy, sometimes-silly, sensation. Daniel Craig clearly enjoys this role better than Bond. A beautiful cast of characters in a gripping plot on one motherflippin cool location. Enjoy, enjoy!
