If I’m not with somebody who really excites or inspires me …

….then I’d rather be by myself.”

Here, here to the beautiful Blake Lively (one of the most aesthetically pleasing people on my radar) …

Looks aside, observing Blake and hubby (Ryan Reynolds), the key seems to be a level footing, mutual respect, and the ability not to take each other too seriously. A mighty tricky one to land romantically, but this can be just as accessible with friends (rather than settling for someone who lowers your energy and, ultimately, potential.)

These guys, the Macaroni Penguins, mate forever. Good luck to them. It may be “A Thruple thing”?

I’m delighted when patients say, “I really like the way I look; I just want to keep things as they are”. There are many more of us dissatisfied than adoring of ourselves, and the point of investing in yourself aesthetically is to keep you connected to your core.

I was the grateful recipient of wise words, from a bold and beautiful new patient, who told me the value in speaking your desires and intents out loud. With everything made of energy, including the spoken word, sounding your beliefs into the atmosphere carries its own resonance.

Today will be a brilliant day.
I know exactly who I am.
I am beautiful.
I will take the opportunities and lessons presented to me.
I want a talented lover. (Go as specific as you want )

I’m not sure I’d have written that on another day of yester-year, but I’ve found myself gravitating to these concepts more and more over the last half decade. Only good can come from a positive output…What you gotta lose?

I hope you enjoy some mad, bad, and ingenious indulgences, not just today but every day.

I know I say it a lot, but I mean it even more. I so enjoy the intel, life lessons and authentic insights shared by you all.

With thanks and lashings of love,

Nothing wrong with a bit of cheese and I do so love the McConaughey. Very good take home message: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbL0X3B4mjg

(Re)WatchThe Talented Mr Ripley (Netflix). Saltburn, eat your heart out. This nail biting throwback has a beautiful cast and 1950’s backdrop to wile away the evening. I’d forgotten how glorious Philip Seymour Hoffman is too (RIP). (Shout out to Lady C)

Watch: True Detective, Night Country (Sky Atlantic) The standalone series that followed the incredible opener (with afore mentioned McConaughey and Woody Harrelson) never quite hit the spot. They didn’t have Jodie Foster in them though. The woman is amazing and an example of somebody who has maintained her youthful essence through the sheer energy she taps. A strong female cast lead the way in this dark and intriguing tale.

Podcast: The F-Word Miniseries – Gabor Mate on feelings (Spotify). There is some excellent advice to be had here. It looks at identifying our wounds and navigating their pain and frantic reverb when triggered. An excellent investment of 58 minutes! (Shout out to Lady S)

Listen: Tame Impala – Let it Happen. For anyone who hasn’t heard of Aussie Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) he’s well worth a listen. Since Tame Impala’s inception, he’s gone on to produce for some major A-listers (who aren’t half as cool as him in my eyes). This man clearly has talent. Enjoy!
