Juläine, Marylebone
Restore your own collagen, quietly, with Juläine biostimulator treatment, London.
Juläine is a collagen biostimulator from Nordberg Medical in Sweden. It doesn’t fill. It encourages your skin to rebuild the collagen it has been losing, so structure and firmness return gradually, over months, and nobody can quite put their finger on what’s changed.
It suits women who want the effect of good structure without the look of product. The results are your own tissue, which is why they look like natural.

What Is Juläine?
Juläine is made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a biocompatible material that has been used safely in medicine for decades and is gradually absorbed by the body. Once injected, it prompts the skin’s fibroblasts to produce new collagen in the deeper layers, slowly rebuilding the support that thins with age.
What sets Juläine apart is its refined formulation. Its PLLA particles are smooth, uniform microspheres, designed for an even, predictable result. It is a newer and refined generation of Sculptra.
Why Collagen Matters
From our mid-twenties, we lose around 1% of our collagen each year, and the loss speeds up after menopause. Skin thins, the face loses its scaffolding, and the contours soften. Filler can replace lost volume, but it doesn’t change the quality of the skin itself. Juläine works on the cause rather than the shadow.
The Benefits of Juläine
Lucy uses Juläine to:
Restore structure and support gradually, using your own collagen.
Improve skin firmness, thickness and quality.
Soften hollowing and laxity
Gives long-lasting results - up to two years - after a full course.
Refreshs the face without anyone being able to say what you’ve had done.
Lucy’s Approach to Juläine
Lucy is exceptionally picky about adding new treatments. She chose Juläine after researching it carefully against the other options, and trained and trailed the product before moving it into her offering.
Every treatment begins with a proper consultation. If Juläine is right for you, Lucy will tell you. If something else would serve you better, she’ll tell you that too.
What to Expect From Juläine Treatment, Marylebone
Personal Consultation
Lucy will assess your skin, structure and goals, and explain honestly what Juläine can and can’t do for you.
The Treatment Process
The skin is cleansed and numbed for comfort. Lucy then places Juläine with a fine needle or cannula, using small, precise deposits. Most patients find it very comfortable.
Post-Treatment and Aftercare
You may have some swelling, redness or bruising for [a few days]. The initial fullness from the fluid settles within days. The real results then build quietly as new collagen forms. Lucy will give you detailed aftercare instructions, [including a short massage routine at home].
The Course
Juläine is given as a course of three sessions, [four to six weeks apart]. Results develop gradually over [three to six months] and last [up to two years], with a single top-up session to maintain them.

Your Juläine Questions
-
You may experience swelling, redness, tenderness, and bruising at the injection site. Uneven swelling is normal and should balance out as it subsides. These effects typically resolve within a few days to two weeks.
-
Bruising can occur despite precautions to avoid it. If bruising happens, it will typically be apparent immediately after treatment. Bruises may change colour as they heal, from red to purple, black, green, and eventually yellow. Using Arnica and Vitamin K cream can help speed up the healing process.
-
We aim for subtle, natural results, which take 4-6 weeks after the third treatment to fully settle. A review can be scheduled afterwards to ensure that you are happy.
-
Most patients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. Numbing cream and local anaesthetic are used for added comfort.
-
It’s best to avoid applying makeup for 12-24 hours after your procedure to reduce the risk of infection or irritation at the injection site.
-
Julaine typically lasts 18-24 months. Regular maintenance treatments with Lucy can help to extend the results and keep your skin looking fresh, healthy and lifted.
-
The cost of Julaine with Lucy Banks is £1000 (2 vials) for one session with three sessions recommended.
-
As with all aesthetic interventions, there may be some mild side effects after Juläine treatment. Some patients experience mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection sites, but this subsides.
